New Bookings

Swimmers must first complete an initial free assessment and after this you will be offered available class times.

To reserve your booking you will need to complete your registration details, class times are not guaranteed until this is done. Your place will only be reserved after completing registration.

Places will be held for a maximum of two weeks after registration is completed and then only confirmed once payment is made.


Re-Enrolment Process

week 7 -

Re-enrolments will be opened to all existing customers with swimmers who wish to remain on the same day. If the swimmer is moving up we will provide an option on the same day wherever possible.

Re-enrolments need to be confirmed before the end of Week 8, if the space is not confirmed by this time then it will be opened to other customers.

If you would like to change days please notify us and options will be provided in Week 8.

 

WEEK 8 -

Swimmers wishing to change days will be given alternate options and must confirm their class within one week.

 

WEEK 9 -

Remaining spaces will be offered to new swimmers, if you have not re-enrolled or confirmed a new class by this time your spot will be offered.


Progression

Swimmers are being constantly assessed by coaches and supervisors. Towards the end of the term CitySwim will notify the caregiver if the swimmer is ready to move up and provide options for the following term.

We encourage swimmers to attend all lessons to ensure continuity and enhance their progress. Being absent from too many lessons may impact on their development and may result in the swimmer not being suited to their current level.

In some circumstances if the swimmer is ready the coach may recommend they move up midterm. In this case you will be contacted to arrange a new class time.

Swimmers will progress through our levels at different rates. It is completely normal for a swimmer to spend multiple terms in one level. If you are concerned about your child’s progression please contact CitySwim or talk to a supervisor.

*Please note coaches often have multiple classes and will be unable to discuss swimmers progress on pooldeck. Please email any questions or concerns to contact@cityswim.co.nz or talk to a supervisor.
