Adult Intermediate
Swimmers
Our Adult Intermediate lessons are perfect for swimmers who are confident in basic swimming skills and want to improve their technique and stamina to progress to being able to swim continuously with correct technique over longer distances. The main focus of these lessons is to develop a strong, stable and technically correct stroke so that swimmers will progress from learn to swim style technique into a more fluid stroke as well as starting to train their speed in small sprint sets.
As Swimmers improve and build up to more squad style swimming they are able to transition into our Adult Squads. If you are interested in our Intermediate lessons then fill in the form below and we can arrange a free trial lesson.
Lessons
Our Intermediate lessons last 45mins and are once a week at 5.45pm on Monday evenings at the Aquadome, they run in line with the primary school terms and enrolment is on a term by term basis. Our term dates can be found here.
Training is centred around improving freestyle technique and building to be able to swim laps continuously. Swimmers will be introduced to a wide variety of new drills and skills to help build up core control, strength and improve co-ordination.
