Adult Beginner
Swimmers
The Adult Beginner class is perfect for swimmers who have basic water confidence and are able to kick one length of the pool. The class will be focused on teaching freestyle breathing technique with the aim of building strength and stamina to be able to swim laps continuously.
As swimmers build in confidence and ability they will be able to progress into our Intermediate lessons where they will learn to swim continuously and move into a more fluid stroke. If you are interested in our Beginner lessons then fill in the form below and we can arrange a free trial lesson.
Lessons
Our Beginner lessons last 45mins and are once a week at 5.45pm on Wednesday evenings at the Aquadome, they run in line with the primary school terms and enrolment is on a term by term basis. Our term dates can be found here.
Lessons will include a variety of breathing exercises and drills so that swimmers can learn breathing control in the water and also include freestyle specific drills that will help with stamina and control. With small class sizes and a high coach to swimmer ratio our beginner lessons are the perfect way to kickstart your swimming journey.

Our Coaches are passionate about creating a friendly and supportive environment and are equipped with years of teaching adults from beginners through to squads.
